Project “Remote learning Programme for data Protection”.
The aim of the project is to raise public awareness of the rules for the protection of personal data.
The project provides for the creation of a free data protection training programme, which would be available online and learnt in three languages: Latvian, English and Russian.
The training Programme on data Protection will be designed to clarify the provisions of the General Regulation on the Protection of personal data and will contain both the theoretical and the practical elements. The program will consist of video tutorials telling theory, practical tasks and test tests for participants, and sample documents that can be used after training m..
In particular, representatives of small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, whose resources are often limited, will be invited to use the free training programme, but data protection requirements need to be met. The training programme will provide an opportunity to improve their knowledge of data protection and apply it in practice in their businesses.
The training Programme will be open to all interested parties who wish to enhance their knowledge of data protection, including how to exercise their right to data protection. .
The Project is being implemented under the European Commission's Financial Programme citizens, Equality, Rights and values (CERV) 2021-2027, tender Nr.CER V-2021-DATA.
The total cost of the project amounts to EUR 261 505.86, of which EUR 235 355.27 is co-financed by the European Union.
The project is due from 1 September 2022 to 30 August 2024.
